I love that each of the photos in this collection exudes love. Keep this in mind the next time you are preparing for a session with me, your Tampa family photographer. Know that even though gorgeous outfits and coordinated colors make the images appear balanced and help you determine where to display the prints, the true mark of beauty from every session is the love that each family shares.
Here are three tips to help make your family photos amazing:
- Tell me exactly what you’re hoping to get out of the session.Are you looking to update a family portrait that hangs in a specific spot on your wall? Do you just want a nice photo to share with your friends and family? Are you looking to create a keepsake album to give as a gift? Whatever you’re hoping to get out of your session, tell me! That way we can work together to make sure we capture the perfect shot.
- Relax.Getting your family dressed and to the studio can be a task in and of itself. I totally understand! But once you get here, it’s time to relax and get comfortable. I want to capture images of your family enjoying each other’s company. Snuggling, hugging, laughing together. If I need you to get in a specific pose, I’ll gently guide you there. Otherwise, just relax and enjoy your time in front of the camera together.
- Wear your fanciest dress or your favorite pair of blue jeans.Don’t forget, these images are meant to reflect your individual family. If that means getting dressed to the nines in your Sunday best, by all means let’s make that happen! However, if you’re more comfortable in a cozy sweater and jeans, that works too.
